Xray Technologist (Rad Tech/General Xray) — Williston, ND. The organization is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support general X-ray services, with emphasis on trauma and orthopedic imaging workflows, including orthopedics-focused view preparation. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (11:00 AM–7:00 PM) with call; minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R)); North Dakota state license; 2 years of experience; license required on the first day
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic views
- Responsibilities: Perform trauma and orthopedic/general X-ray imaging studies; support operating-room related imaging; assist with transport in other modalities if not busy
- Additional Information: Department supports general X-ray with 1 digital X-ray room, 1 digital fluoroscopy/x-ray room, digital portable x-ray in the emergency department, and C-arms in the operating room and a C-arm procedure room, along with CT, mammography, MRI, DEXA, and ultrasound capabilities. CT completes after-hours x-ray, and on-call coverage is required for high volumes or major trauma, with low call-back volume for this position. Major holidays are closed, with rotating on-call coverage; call/standby coverage rotates on a 1-in-2 to 3 basis and technologists share call. Response time requirement is 20 minutes. Weekend call/standby is shared among staff technologists.
