Job Summary: Xray Technologist (Radiology) — St. Louis, Missouri
This role supports Radiology services by assisting radiologists and other performing physicians with interventional and specialized procedures, as well as general X-ray workflows using portables and imaging rooms. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and completion of required onboarding/orientation activities on the schedule provided by the healthcare provider. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (5x8); minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT); Radiology Technologist (RRA) credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA); Flu vaccination requirement with facility-approved exemptions for the period of November 1–April 1; ability to work every other weekend and work holidays when they fall on a scheduled day; call requirements as required by the facility
  • Preferred Qualifications: Two to five years of relevant experience in a hospital setting with patient populations from inpatient (IP), operating room (OR), emergency department (ED), and outpatient (OP); preferred GE equipment experience
  • Additional Information: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, and the traveler must be available the entire week for orientation. Duties include performing general X-ray procedures in portable, fluoroscopy, and general X-ray rooms; supporting GI procedures; assisting with specialized procedures (including myelography, hysterosalpingography, and arthrography or other similar procedures); and supporting surgical procedures using C-arms and O-arms when necessary. Float may be required between areas of OR, GI, and minor and inpatient/outpatient units as directed by the facility.
