Job Summary
The X-ray Technologist position is based in a healthcare facility and involves performing radiographic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role requires delivering high-quality imaging services to support accurate diagnoses, with a focus on safety and adherence to established standards. This temporary assignment is slated to start on October 5, 2026, and conclude on January 2, 2027.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts working days, totaling 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license, Category Radiography, BLS/CPR certification required, minimum education in radiologic technology, at least 2+ years of radiologic technologist work experience preferred, experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Responsibilities: Perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision in a safe, accurate, and timely manner to support diagnostic processes. Follow universal precautions for infection control due to potential exposure to blood and body fluids. Maintain quality standards under the supervision of the Chief Technologist, Radiation Safety Officer, and the Director of Radiology and Cardiology Services.
- Additional Information: The position requires supporting various departments including Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, Operating Room, Pain Clinic, Orthopedics, Emergency Room, and Outpatient services. Travelers who have worked for the organization within the last six months will not be accepted. Candidates must be available for interview and provide dates and times upon submission.
