Xray Technologist, XRAY TECH, New Jersey — performs diagnostic imaging and treatment processes in accordance with applicable professional guidelines. Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school
- New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1–3 years of experience as an X-ray Technician
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper equipment care
- Knowledge of healthcare informatics, clinical practice trends, and developments in hardware and software technology
- Strong problem identification, resolution, analytical, oral, and written communication skills
- Additional Information:
- Performs imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
- Assesses equipment and patient safety, procedural needs, and physical and physiological comfort.
- Monitors the need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
- Maintains equipment used during procedures.
- Weekday coverage may include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Wednesday coverage from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
