Job Summary:
The Morristown, New Jersey,-based X-Ray Technologist position involves performing and providing appropriate imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role requires a minimum of 18 months of experience in the field, with specific experience with GE equipment and comfort working in the operating room environment. The position offers evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including every other weekend and one on-call shift every three weeks.
Job Details:
- Location: Morristown, New Jersey
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM including every other weekend and one on-call shift every 3 weeks
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School; NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License; ARRT certification; BLS certification; 18 months minimum experience in the field; experience with GE equipment; comfortable working in the operating room environment
- Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care; knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics; initiative, problem-solving, resolution, analytical skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a clinical environment that may involve complex procedures and advanced hardware and software technology.
