Job Summary:
Boston, Massachusetts. This Radiologic Technologist position is focused on providing skilled imaging support within emergency and inpatient units, with additional support in operating rooms. Candidates are required to bring their Radiologic Technologist license on the first day. The role involves working on a rotating shift schedule, including on-call duties, with minimal travel restrictions.
Job Details:
- Position: Xray Technologist (XRAY TECH)
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Schedule: 8-hour rotating shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Vocational or technical training in Medical Radiography; Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist (RadTech-Radiography) license; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 2 years of related work experience; advanced technical computer skills relevant to functional systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Heavy Emergency Department experience.
- Additional Information: Support includes emergency department, inpatient units, and operating rooms. No local travelers accepted (cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility). Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Candidates must provide available interview dates and times at submission. Travelers who have worked for the organization within the last six months as travel, perm, or per diem are ineligible; candidates must be separated from the facility for at least six months. Parking costs up to $43 per day may apply.
- Note: Support for on-call shifts, scheduled on a rotating basis, with 2-4 call shifts per month.
