Job Summary
Vascular Sonographer in ULTRA VT — located in Denton, Texas. This position involves performing vascular ultrasound procedures with a focus on abdomen and vascular imaging. The role requires certification and experience in vascular sonography, with responsibilities including call during weekdays and possible extra shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications: ARDMS RVT, BLS — combined with education, degree, and location requirements including at least 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required experience: 0 years minimum.
- Additional responsibilities include performing pelvic/transvaginal, renal, abdomen, limited 1st trimester pregnancy, testicular, carotid, and upper and lower extremity venous procedures.
- Must have current ARDMS RVT certification and BLS certification.
- Candidates must be registered in Abdomen and vascular (RVT) and have at least 2 years of experience, including travel experience, with preferred skills in paracentesis/thoracentesis, biopsies, drainages, and GE equipment experience.
- Call during weeknights from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am may be required, along with weekend, holiday, and on-call shift coverage.
- The position requires excellent time management, positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
