A Vascular Sonographer opportunity is available in an outpatient imaging setting with potential rotation to a primary campus as needed. The role involves completing abdominal and OB/GYN credentialed ultrasound work aligned to ARDMS requirements, with clinical support and scheduling coordinated based on operational needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week; weekends every other and call rotation required.
- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — Abdominal (AB) or Obstetrics (OB) required (both are preferred).
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience preferred; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — both Abdominal (AB) and Obstetrics (OB) preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Outpatient Imaging Center as the primary location, with possible rotation to the main campus as needed.
- Patient types and expected daily patient volume are discussed during the interview.
- Technology and workflow include Electronic Medical Record (EMR) use (Cerner).
- Floating between the main campus and the Outpatient Imaging Center may be required and is discussed during the manager interview.
- Orientation, scheduling specifics, weekend expectations, and call rotation details are discussed during the manager interview.
- Return-to-work (RTO) requires manager approval.
- Scrub color can be any solid professional color, or provided by the facility if needed.
