Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer (Radiology) position in an inpatient healthcare setting. This role involves performing a variety of ultrasound exams independently and with team support, including portable exams in both pediatric and adult patients. The assignment is for an initial 13-week period with the potential for weekend shifts, and requires flexibility to float between units as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shift, from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, scheduled for Friday through Sunday, with weekend requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer, current registry with ARDMS (ABD, OB/GYN, or PEDS) or ARRT (S) Vascular registry highly preferred, current clinical license, BLS certification required at submission, EMR experience with EPIC, and no employment gaps over 30 days without explanation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong vascular experience, pediatric and neonatal ultrasound expertise, experience with Philips, Canon (Toshiba), and GE ultrasound systems, and proficiency with adult general ultrasound techniques including abdominal Doppler, liver and kidney transplants.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have experience performing live Doppler exams, working independently and in team settings, and reviewing ultrasound studies with radiologists. On-call is not required, but ultrasound exams will be performed throughout various units. Fluency with portable ultrasound technology and strong vascular skills are essential.
