Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in the healthcare setting. This role involves performing a variety of general ultrasound procedures across inpatient and outpatient departments, with a focus on vascular, obstetric, pediatric, and other diagnostic imaging. The position offers an opportunity to work across multiple sites with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. The schedule is variable and includes shifts of 10 and 12 hours.
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification and AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification required at submission. Candidate must have 3+ years of experience in general ultrasound imaging, including general ultrasound, small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), obstetrics (fetal survey in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters), and pediatrics (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception). Inpatient and outpatient ultrasound experience in radiology is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: EMR experience, specifically with EPIC, is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to float to all three sites (Everett, Cambridge, Somerville). Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted; the local rate is approximately $8 less. Candidate should be agreeable to rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Submission must include an up-to-date resume, two recent supervisor references in the same specialty, a skills checklist, driver’s license with matching address, current AHA BLS, ARDMS RDMS certification, and seasonally required flu vaccine. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
