Job Summary
Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer (Ultrasonographer General) – Location not specified. This assignment is for a large trauma Level 1 facility requiring an experienced sonographer for various obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures. The temporary position is available for 16-26 weeks, starting October 5, 2026.
Job Details
- Position Description: Replacement, need ASAP start! Assignment for 16-26 weeks. The sonographer will perform OB/GYN ultrasounds, including fetal anatomy scans, follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy. The schedule is days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential, prior travel experience required, at least 2 years of experience, large teaching hospital experience preferred, experience in OB/GYN ultrasound procedures, recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal anatomy scans, detailed OB assessments, follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, sonohystogram, HyCoSy.
- Additional Information:
- No block schedules.
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays, with next available date of 10/19.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Complete work history details are required for submission.
- Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible, with vehicles equipped for winter months.
- No float; schedule is Monday to Sunday with weekends on an as-needed basis.
