Job Summary:
The city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a qualified Ultrasonographer Echo to join the healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations, including advanced procedures such as TAVR and TEE, providing critical images and measurements for cardiologists to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; graduation from a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); BLS certification; six (6) months of related experience.

- Additional Information: The role involves independently performing advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures, reviewing patient data prior to procedures, operating required equipment, and accurately documenting all procedural data. The candidate will support departmental quality assurance activities, maintain competency and registry requirements, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills with physicians and surgeons, and ability to serve in an on-call rotation are essential.
