Job Summary
The Ultrasonographer Echo (ULTRA ECHO) works in a cardiac ultrasound lab, collaborating closely with cardiologists to assess and treat cardiac diseases. The position involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound tests, including 2D, 3D, spectral Doppler, tissue Doppler imaging, and strain imaging, among others, to support patient care within the organization’s Heart and Vascular Institute.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), RDCS, RCS
- Education Requirements: Graduate with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Echocardiography Program
- Required Experience: 1+ Years as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Location Requirements: Must be willing to work at all Heart and Vascular Institute sites on occasion
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Submission Requirements: Prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC must be listed on the candidate's resume; must include all RTO requests at the time of submittal
- Additional Information: Knowledge of Aseptic Technique and EKG Rhythms, ability to use Electronic Medical Records, experience with IV Insertion for Ultrasound Imaging Enhancement Agents and Bubble Studies
