Job Summary: Las Cruces, New Mexico — Ultrasonographer (Echo)
The healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Echo Technologist to perform and support a range of echocardiography services, including inpatient, outpatient, and catheterization lab procedure exams. The role requires independent work as needed and proficiency with transthoracic echocardiograms, bubble studies, and the use of Definity (where applicable). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: RDCS (required); Pediatrics Registered (preferred); NM State License in Echo; Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered and competent Echo technologist able to work independently as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatrics Registered
- Additional Information:
- Ability to cover inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and catheterization lab (Cath) procedure exams
- Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms, bubble studies, and Definity (required)
- Assists with Transesophageal Echocardiograms, structural heart procedures, TAVR procedures, and TEE during watchman procedures
- Documentation systems and PACS include GE documentation system, Meditech, and Change Healthcare PACS
