Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer in Jacksonville — This outpatient clinic specializes in high-risk and low-risk obstetric and gynecologic imaging. The selected candidate will work within a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment, providing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging for a diverse patient population.
Job Details
- Location: Jacksonville, FL
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Fridays 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Required Qualifications: RDMS Certification (OB/GYN), 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience, minimum clinical experience of 2 years, no travel experience required, and ability to work in a high-volume outpatient setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Echo Certification (a plus but not required).
- Responsibilities: Conduct obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging for all age groups, including high-risk obstetric cases, utilizing standard sonography practices on equipment with 6 exam rooms and a patient volume of 8 to 10 patients daily.
- Equipment: Standard sonography practice equipment, with no specialized equipment beyond typical OB/GYN ultrasound tools.
- Orientation: 3 days of unit orientation.
- Submission Requirements: Any requested time off should be disclosed during application, as post-submission approval is not guaranteed. Interview process involves a unit manager interview.
- Additional Information: Florida AHCA Level 2 screening may take up to 14 business days; seasonal influenza vaccination exemption requests are allowed with appropriate documentation.
