Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer – Jacksonville, FL. An outpatient clinic specializing in obstetric and gynecologic imaging is seeking an experienced Ultrasonographer to join the Perinatal Diagnostic Program. This role involves performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging, focusing on both high-risk and low-risk patient populations in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment.
Job Details
- Position: Ultrasonographer in Maternal Fetal Medicine specialty
- Location: Jacksonville, FL
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, Days Shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RDMS Certification (OB/GYN), minimum 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience, minimum 2 years of clinical experience, familiarity with EPIC (Radiant) EMR system, no travel required, minimum age of patients served is all age groups
- Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Echo Certification (a plus but not required)
- Responsibilities: Conduct obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging, assist in high-risk and low-risk obstetric diagnostics, operate standard sonography equipment in a busy outpatient setting, and participate in unit orientation for new staff.
- Additional Information: No specialized equipment beyond standard sonography practice is required. Unit has 6 exam rooms and handles 8 to 10 patients daily. An orientation period of 3 days is provided. Any requested time off should be disclosed at the time of submission.
