Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) in a healthcare facility. This role involves patient evaluations, treatment, and performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS). The position starts as soon as possible and is scheduled for six months, with a shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., every other weekend and every other holiday.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in the relevant state as a Speech Therapist; American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certificate of clinical competency; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least one year of recent experience in a similar inpatient setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS).
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment, and performing MBSS. Candidates should wear navy tops and beige bottoms. EMR system used is Cerner. This position is for one individual to fill a vacant role with a start date of 09/28/2026, concluding on 03/15/2027.
