Job Summary:
A Speech Language Pathologist located in Grand Island, Nebraska. This inpatient role involves administering and performing therapeutic interventions with clients, assessing their needs, developing personalized therapy plans, and maintaining client privacy and confidentiality. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday or a shifted schedule from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program preferred. Certification for the state of practice, BLS Certification. Basic speech/language pathology skills. Must be at least 18 years of age. Prior work experience in a rehabilitation or geriatrics setting preferred.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, M-F or able to do a shifted schedule T-Sa or Su-Th, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Direct supervision of assigned employee(s). Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplining, and addressing employee concerns in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
