Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient pediatric outpatient rehabilitation services is needed at a regional healthcare facility located in northwest New Mexico. The position involves providing speech and language therapy to primarily pediatric patients aged 10 and under, with a focus on speech/language delays, autism spectrum disorders, Trisomy 21, and articulation/phonology issues. This role offers a full-time schedule on dayshift with a commitment of 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NM State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 1 year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, and relevant education per NM State Licensing Board.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric outpatient setting preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves a Monday through Thursday workweek, with expectations to attend mandatory meetings which may occur during unpaid lunch breaks. The unit manages patient ratios of approximately 10-14 scheduled pediatric patients daily. EHR documentation will be performed using Cerner. The role requires adherence to the facility’s dress code, which includes a dark gray top and black pants in scrubs or polo/button-up attire. All required vaccinations must be verified prior to employment.
