Job Summary: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient — Beatrice, Nebraska. This role provides speech and language services for a pediatric patient population across outpatient and acute inpatient settings, with occasional inpatient coverage. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and support patients with diagnoses including language/speech delays, autism, Down syndrome, and articulation/phonological concerns. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00am–5:00pm or as patients are scheduled; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Speech Language Pathology; must be licensed or hold a temporary license as Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with the State of Nebraska; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; CPR certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Medication Aide (preferred); valid driver’s license
- Responsibilities: Able to work independently and collaborate with all disciplines within the Rehab department, including support staff
- Additional Information: The charting system is Epic. The position primarily covers outpatient, with possible/occasional inpatient needs.
