Job Summary: Augusta, GA — Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for an inpatient rehabilitation setting supporting bedside swallow evaluations, MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study), cognitive assessment and treatment, and stroke rehabilitation services. The role also includes performing speech and swallowing interventions using equipment such as Vital Stim and related therapy tools. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

- Certification: CCC (Clinical Competence Certification)
- Skills: MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study), dyspHagia, cognitive assessment and treatment, stroke rehabilitation
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/skills: Vital Stim
- Experience: TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) experience
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct bedside swallow exams
- Perform MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study)
- Provide Vital Stim therapy interventions
- Support cognitive assessment and treatment
- Participate in urgent evaluations for swallow or diet concerns (rarely)
