Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP) – located in Ada, Oklahoma. This position involves providing specialized speech therapy services within a healthcare facility's inpatient unit. The role offers a balanced schedule of day shifts and weekend rotations, supporting comprehensive patient care across neurology, orthopedics, and cognitive impairment cases.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Therapy Licensure; 1 year of experience preferred; 0+ years minimum experience required.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, daily coverage with weekend rotation, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Skills and Experience: Experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting, including swallow studies; working with interdisciplinary teams; managing neuro, ortho, and debility cases.
- Additional Information: The position involves working with patients with neurological, orthopedic, and cognitive impairments, utilizing equipment such as Sara steady, Hoyer, and parallel bars. Electronic health records include EPIC and Nethealth for billing. Flexibility for float assignments to Medical-Surgical and Outpatient units may be required.
