Job Summary:
The position is for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) at an outpatient facility located in Monterey, California. The role involves providing therapy to children, adolescents, and their families, with a minimum of two years’ experience in these domains. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Monterey, California
- Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekends on rare occasion, if the patient or family requires.
- Required Qualifications: California License (LCSW or LMFT), BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association (AHA), minimum 2 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records such as EPIC and Cerner, strong emergency room experience, and teaching facility background.
- Additional Information: The facility is a nicotine-free environment; all drug reports must show negative results for nicotine/cotinine unless prescribed nicotine patches are involved, which will prompt review. Candidates with prior travel experience and relevant certifications are preferred.
