A Social Worker specializing in therapy is needed in a facility located in the region. This role involves providing psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and facilitating group and individual therapy sessions for adult patients with conditions such as depression, suicidal ideation, and anxiety. The position is part-time, with an 8-hour shift and a 40-hour workweek, beginning on September 15, 2026, and concluding on December 15, 2026.
Job Details
- Position: Social Worker – Therapy (CBT, DBT, MI, Process Groups)
- Location: Inpatient facility
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS, HWC, LCSW/LICSW/LMHC, MA state license, 2+ years of experience, clinical unit experience including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, group therapy, and individual sessions
- Additional Information:
- Unit Profile: PHP (10 beds), IOP (10 beds), adult patient population, up to 1:10 patient ratios
- Electronic Health Record: Cerner
- Supervisor: Kate Ward, LMHC
- Must have skills in psychotherapy, psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, group therapy, individual sessions
- Preferred skillset includes experience with group therapy
- Common diagnoses include depression, suicidal ideation, and anxiety
- Dress Code: Scrubs, any color; casual wear is unacceptable
- Position is new/expanded service line
