Job Summary:
The respiratory therapist registered (RT RENEGADE) position is located in Richland, Washington. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The position requires candidates to bring their valid Washington State license on the first day. The schedule is variable shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week starting from 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

  • Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, variable timing
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State (WA) license in hand; valid allied license in hand; 2 years of relevant experience; certifications include ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, or ENPC, RRT; candidates must have worked at a healthcare facility providing adult critical care, neonatal, or pediatric respiratory support.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience; experience with high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, interpretation of arterial blood gases, neonatal intensive care procedures.
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapy – Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (RT PEDS)
  • Additional Responsibilities: Must be flexible to float between units within the facility; experience with ventilator management, high flow nasal cannula, nitric oxide, intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene is required.
  • Additional Information: This position involves working with complex neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures, including neonatal and pediatric ventilator support, high-frequency oscillators, and nitric oxide therapy. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility, and those within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a lower rate.
