Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) — Nights — Miami, FL
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered to support Respiratory NICU/PICU services on night shifts. In this role, the Respiratory Therapist Registered provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory conditions using advanced technologies and medication delivery methods. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 0 years minimum (as stated); current NICU/PICU experience; 2 years of current acute care hospital respiratory therapy experience; Meditech experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous Meditech experience
- Additional Information: Float rotation may be required to provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, and related services. Respiratory Therapists perform treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery, including high flow devices and related respiratory equipment.
