Job Summary:
This position is for a Respiratory Therapist (Registered) in Lone Tree, Colorado, working nights. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services in a busy acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapist (Registered) experience. Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required. A current license must be brought on the first day.
- Schedule: Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapist (Registered) experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications, and licensure.
- Additional Information: The unit plays a critical role in NICU and ICU Respiratory Therapy, with a focus on ventilator liberation and therapy in NICU and ICU settings. The environment values teamwork, collaboration, and autonomy. Flexibility in scheduling and experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
