Job Summary: Boston, Massachusetts — Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) for a NICU-focused role. This position supports level 2 and level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Special Care Nursery care in a birthing hospital environment. The respiratory care team collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to perform and interpret tests and procedures while administering respiratory care protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; 36 hours per week; rotating schedule that includes every third weekend, with rotation every three weeks
- Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Basic Life Support (CPR) — American Heart Association (AHA) (CPR-AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (NRP REQUIRED)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Ability to manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy
