Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatrics (PEDS) is being sought for a position in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role involves providing respiratory therapy across multiple settings including neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT) — PEDS
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Qualifications: Valid ND state license, minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy involving neonatal to geriatrics, including NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac patient care
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Duration: Start date on 06/29/2026, with upfront RTO (Request To Obtain time off) of 7 days or less per 13-week contract; additional RTO not approved after submission
  • Patient Population: Neonatal to geriatrics, including Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac patients
  • Inpatient/Outpatient: All areas throughout the facility
  • Equipment: Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60 Respironics
  • Additional Information: Candidates must not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization, including those associated with the group that owns the facility. The radius rule limits candidates to within 50 miles of the facility. RTs are expected to work independently, make clinical judgments, and collaborate closely with physicians.
  • Shift Orientation: 3-12 hour shifts prior to start
