Job Summary: Austin, Texas — Respiratory Therapist (Registered) (RT PEDS). The Respiratory Therapist (Registered) provides respiratory care for pediatric patients, supporting oxygen delivery and ventilator management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts); weekends rotate; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities:
- Support oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments (nebs).
- Provide ventilator management as part of respiratory care for pediatric patients.
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Respiratory Therapy skills including Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Pediatric readiness certifications/competencies as applicable: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
