Job Summary:
The respiratory therapist registered (RT PEDS) position is located in Austell, Georgia. This role involves providing clinical care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting during night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and have relevant certifications.
Job Details:
- Location: Austell, Georgia
- Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12 hours per shift, with one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Certifications include: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), with experience of 0-2 years clinical experience including at least 6 months in critical care. Additional licenses and certifications may be required.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS/BLS, PALS, NRP certifications preferred; pediatric and emergency department experience highly desirable.
- Additional Information: Ability to communicate effectively, critical thinking skills, establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare team members, and proficiency with computers including database familiarity is essential. Good customer relation, assessment, and communication skills are necessary.
