Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Pediatric (PEDS) in a healthcare setting located in southeastern Washington. This role involves providing respiratory care across all age groups, from neonates to adults, in a busy ICU, Med-Surg, and NICU environment. The position supports a teaching hospital within a community that offers a wide range of medical services and a vibrant recreational landscape.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support); at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist with pediatric experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU and NICU experience, responding to codes neonate through adult.
- Additional Information: The unit includes ICU, Med-Surg, and NICU beds with patient ratios that vary; equipment includes PB980, EV300, and Airvo. Dress code is scrubs in any color, and scrubs must be worn at all times.
