Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — Fredericksburg, Virginia
The healthcare provider will support respiratory care needs in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, with responsibilities focused on advanced respiratory therapies and ventilation support. The role requires NICU experience and the ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week, including every other weekend
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (preferred but may be obtained after hire); Respiratory Therapist (RRT); NICU experience; 2 years of general RT experience; experience with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilation systems
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
