Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Intensive Care Unit — Seattle, WA. The respiratory therapist provides cardiopulmonary services for both inpatients and outpatients by following approved protocols and departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures, managing airways and ventilation, and performing diagnostics such as blood gases and pulmonary function studies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: WA RT license (attached to resume); National Board for Respiratory Care registered respiratory therapist (RRT) or certified respiratory therapist (CRT) certification (attached to submission packet); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications (must be American Heart Association-issued and attached to submission); must be licensed/certified as required for the role
