Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) — Salem, Virginia
This role supports an inpatient wound care program by providing wound treatment recommendations and consulting for wound evaluations, including documentation of wound images and measurements. The position functions in an autonomous capacity and includes new ostomy teaching as well as management support for complex wound vac and fistula cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, M-F 8a-5p; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) credentials; Wound care experience; ability to function independently.
- Preferred Qualifications: None provided.
- Additional Information: Consults for inpatient wound patients with recommendations that may include wound images and measurements; supports new ostomy teaching; assists with management of difficult wound vacs and fistulas.
