Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Wound Care is sought for a healthcare organization located in Saint Louis, Missouri. The position involves providing advanced wound management and ostomy care for adult patients within an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. This role involves shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five days a week.
Job Details:
- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday (07/27/2026 start date)
- Required Qualifications: Valid Wound Ostomy Care certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, and holding or pending licensure in Missouri or a compact state.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC; community hospital experience; experience with wound vac therapy, debridement, and advanced wound assessments.
- Additional Information: The role involves dressing changes, VAC therapy, and management of various wound types including pressure ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, and venous ulcers. The unit supports multidisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
