Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. This position involves working on a medical unit with a focus on patients requiring cardiac monitoring and related procedures. Candidates must bring their license on their first day. The role requires a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital Telemetry RN experience and certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). The shift is overnight, and the schedule runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

- Additional Information: This unit performs procedures such as central lines, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies. Typical patient ratios are estimated at 1:6 overall and 1:4 for Heart Cath patients, though these are not guaranteed. Equipment used includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes. Candidates should demonstrate a positive attitude, engagement, independence, and strong critical thinking skills.
