Job Summary:
Cardiovascular Telemetry Nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing direct nursing care on 28-bed cardiac telemetry units within a Level I trauma center serving patients of all ages. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team, with responsibilities including implementation and monitoring of patient care plans, assessment and coordination of discharge planning needs, and notes of physician and nursing orders.
Job Details:
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Position: Telemetry Nurse
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; no minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, experience in cardiac telemetry or med-surg units preferred.
- Float: Float rotation to cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical departments may be required.
- Additional Information: Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor technicians is available. The role involves working up to 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period and holidays if needed.
- The unit supports a multidisciplinary team including patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator, ensuring well-coordinated patient care and efficient workflows.
