Job Summary:
Surgical Telemetry Nurse in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized patient care within the surgical telemetry unit of a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their current RN (Registered Nurse) license on the first day of employment. The role entails working night shifts, with a scheduled 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and a minimum of 36 hours per week, for an assignment duration of 13 weeks.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA (American Heart Association); must have 1 year of inpatient Telemetry nursing experience, with experience and competence in drug titration; Trauma certification credits or ability to complete within two weeks.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma and inpatient units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, monitors and coordinates patient activities with ancillary departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to hospital standards.
