Job Summary: Telemetry (TELE) Healthcare Professional — Nashville, Tennessee
A Telemetry (TELE) role supporting continuous patient monitoring and the interpretation of cardiac rhythm activity. This assignment requires the ability to read telemetry strips and demonstrate competency with arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution prior to orientation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36.0 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA); Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) (or MAB); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); ability to read telemetry strips; ability to demonstrate competency with arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution.

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution; failure to pass may result in cancellation of the assignment.
- Charge or preceptor responsibilities may be required and may be reflected on the healthcare professional’s timesheet.
- Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation.
- The facility may cancel 1 shift every four weeks during the contract.
