Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in telemetry at a health care facility located in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position entails assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, providing health education and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and documenting in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-hour Nights — 1900-0730, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, 1+ years of nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of Nursing, previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Additional Information: This unit is a Step-down/Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and may need to be placed on call during the scheduled shift. Responsibilities include health assessment, health teaching, resource utilization, patient referral, therapy and treatment planning, and documentation.
