Telemetry nursing position in Asheville, North Carolina, providing care to adult medical-surgical patients during 12-hour night shifts. Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; telemetry rhythm capabilities; critical thinking and time management skills; ability to assess medical-surgical patients and promptly report changes in acuity; strong communication skills; punctuality and reliability.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include administering intravenous fluids and antibiotics, managing tube and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy feedings, and collaborating with nurses and nursing assistants as part of a team. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Navy blue scrubs are required. Assignment period: 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
