Job Summary:
Step Down (Progressive Care) Travel Nurse — Rock Island, Illinois
This position supports the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team within a Step Down/Progressive Care setting. The role includes delivering clinical nursing care while contributing professional/clinical knowledge and skills to support patient outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) or BLS (ARC/American Red Cross); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) or ACLS (ARC/American Red Cross); EPIC experience; 24 months of current Stepdown/Progressive Care experience; 2 years of previous Cardiac Stepdown experience; Skills checklist specific to the Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline as required; Professional reference/reference check including a performance evaluation from within 24 months of today’s date; Driver’s License document

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Every other weekend is required. Night shift assignments may reflect a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6, with charge nurses working to create the safest possible assignments based on each individual’s cardiac experience.
