Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Step Down. This position provides care in a progressive care, medical-surgical, or telemetry setting based on organizational needs and the clinician’s skills. Assignments are available for 13 to 26 weeks and require the ability to work within the designated clinical skill set.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week; every other weekend and every other holiday coverage may be required.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license; two years of progressive care unit or medical-surgical telemetry acute care experience; travel nursing experience; completion of the Registered Nurse Step Down (Progressive Care Unit) specialty examination and required skills assessment.

- Placement may occur in a progressive care, medical-surgical, or telemetry unit based on clinical needs and demonstrated skills.
- Electronic medical record experience is required.
