Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Step Down. The registered nurse will provide care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or medical-surgical telemetry unit based on organizational needs and the candidate’s clinical skills. The role requires acute care experience, travel experience, and the ability to float within the applicable skill set.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure with license verification; minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU), medical-surgical telemetry, or acute care experience; travel experience; completion of the Registered Nurse Step Down (PCU) specialty examination and skills assessment; proficiency with the specified electronic medical record system; availability every other weekend and every other holiday.

- Assignment may be on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or medical-surgical telemetry unit based on organizational needs and clinical skills.
- On-site floating may be required within the applicable clinical skill set.
- Two professional references and completion of the required skills checklist are required for submission.
