Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Step Down Unit. This position provides care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), medical-surgical, or telemetry setting based on current unit needs and the clinician’s skills. The assignment requires acute care experience, travel experience, flexibility to float within the defined skill set, and participation in every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 48 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Two years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or medical-surgical telemetry acute care experience
- Travel experience
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) step-down specialty examination and skills validation
- License verification through the national nursing license database
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Placement may be in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), medical-surgical, or telemetry unit based on current staffing needs and demonstrated skills.
- The role accepts medical-surgical or step-down registered nursing experience with equivalent credentialing requirements.
- The assignment is scheduled from 11/29/2026 through 02/27/2027.
