Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Schedule: Day Shift with 12-hour shifts; Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2 years of nursing experience, experience working with tracheostomy patients, certifications including ACLS and BLS, experience with electronic medical record systems (Cerner).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Cerner EMR and previous exposure to similar unit procedures.
- Other Information: Flexibility and high levels of clinical competence are essential. The role may require floating to other medical-surgical and progressive care units.
- Additional Details: The position involves working 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts within a 6-week period.
