Job Summary:
The Psychiatric Unit Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care within a detox unit focused on substance abuse treatment. This position requires candidates to bring their licensure on the first day and to possess relevant experience in behavioral health, particularly in substance abuse. Candidates should be prepared to work scheduled shifts as specified.
Job Details:
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with options from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of two years of current substance abuse experience, Behavioral Health experience pertinent to the position, current to 1 year. Must have Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license uploaded with profile. Certifications required include American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS). Previous travel experience of at least 6 months is required. Candidate must possess their own vehicle and include their permanent address in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, including any requests for time off.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Experience with Meditech Expanse Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Position involves participation in an 8-hour non-billable orientation. Call-back, holiday, and overtime multipliers are at 1.25%.
