Job Summary:
The Healthcare Professional is a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in psychiatric care, located in Lewiston, Maine. The position involves providing direct and indirect patient care within a psychiatric unit, working with children and adolescents. Candidates are required to bring their Maine RN license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on 07/06/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with flexibility needed to accommodate census demands.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Maine RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Graduate of an approved Nursing program. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of previous nursing experience working with children and adolescents, trauma level experience (Levels 1, 2, and 3), teaching hospital experience, and Epic EMR experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility. Up to 16 hours of orientation time is unpaid. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. No guarantee of hours.
