Job Summary:

- Required Qualifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience
- ICU experience/appropriate skills for Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
- Previous experience with the organization or its operations
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
- Develops individualized care plans and collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Documents assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
- Communicates effectively regarding patient status changes to ensure continuity of care and safety.
- Provides direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating appropriately.
- Maintains safety standards and contributes to a positive work environment through team participation and communication with management.
- Assumes charge responsibilities after orientation and pursues ongoing professional development.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
